Death Valley, CA - March 2013

Death Valley, CA - March 2013   http://www.nps.gov/deva/index.htm

We had a great time and it was a grand day to visit Death Valley. The most important thing we learned is that we must COME BACK!

Lots of history and memories: Death Valley Days on TV, 20 Mule Team Borax commercials

It was 90 degrees before we left. We were sweating and not even wanting to wonder how it feels at 130 degrees!

Badwater.
The hottest, driest, lowest point on Earth!

At Badwater, you can walk out onto the salt for miles

Above Badwater, on a rock wall,
a reminder of where we are

He was on a mission for either water
